Thank you for serving as an "ambassador" for Lighthouse Mission at your church. Check out this page each month for news about the Mission's programs, ways your church can get involved, and videos & flyers to share at your services.
Below are videos for each of the Mission's annual programs that you can view and download to share at your church. Just click the icon in the bottom right of the video to get a copy for yourself.
If your church would like to meet a specific need that the Mission has, please check out some of the things listed below. This list of "current needs" is updated regularly whenever the Mission has a particular need. Your church can also consider buying some items off of our Amazon Wishlist, which contains specific items that are needed at the Mission on a regular basis as we strive to share Jesus with the poor.
Your church's support enables our team to share Jesus with our neighbors in need.
Looking for a neat way to support Lighthouse Mission? Why not consider buying a few items off our Food Pantry Wishlist on Amazon? Items like these are used every day at the Mission as we share Jesus with Long Islanders in need.
Looking for an activity for members of your church, small group, or youth group? Here are a few volunteer activities your team can join us in as part of a local "Missions Trip". Help the Mission's Staff feed the poor, minister to local teens, or load up a truck for a future outreach & be home in time for dinner.
Teams of up to 10 people can come share food, clothing, and the Good News of Jesus with us at any of our 10 weekly Food Outreaches. Your team will help our Outreach Staff to set up a line of food items at the program location, distribute items to those in need, and pack up our truck, all within a 1.5 hour period. Outreaches occur all week long, including two programs on Saturdays.
Bellport, Centereach, Central Islip, Coram, Patchogue, Port Jefferson Station, Riverhead, Rocky Point, Ronkonkoma, and Shirley.
Do you have a passion for mentoring teens who don't know Jesus? The Mission's teen program ("The Refuge") might be the place for you! Each week dozens of teens come to our after-school programs to participate in fun games and hear a short Bible Message. Volunteers who can commit to regularly attending our programs are especially needed.
For more information, please contact Pastor Mike at: or call our office.
Volunteers and volunteer groups are welcome to come help stock food and load up our outreach trucks at the Mission's warehouse. Groups can make a full day of service by helping at the warehouse in the morning and an outreach in the afternoon. Whether an individual or a small group, you will serve alongside others from the community and can serve as a good witness to the Gospel of Jesus.
For more information, please contact Pastor Craig at or call our office.
