Lighthouse Mission's Food Distributions are a great place where Groups of Volunteers can serve in our community. So if you have a group in your church, school, business, or neighborhood that wants to give back, scroll just a bit further down this page. But first, some common questions:

 

• Why Do I Need to Register My Group?

In an effort to enhance your group's experience serving at Lighthouse Mission, and to avoid scheduling conflicts, we require that all Groups of Volunteers Register in Advance by using our Scheduling Calendar below.

**Please note that Unregistered Groups will be turned away in order to avoid conflicts with other volunteers.

• Is There a Fee to Register My Group?

There is no charge to register your group. However, we ask that you please consider making an online financial contribution or collect food, clothing or bibles to help Lighthouse Mission serve our neighbors in need. If you are serving at a Food Distribution, your group will get to hand these items directly to people in need in your community.

• How Many People Can Serve as Part of My Group?

Lighthouse Mission can only accommodate Groups of up to 10 People. If you have a larger group, we ask that you please consider having people from your group serve across multiple Food Distribution Locations.

• What Time Should My Group Arrive to Serve at a Food Distribution?

We ask that all groups please arrive at the location 15 minutes prior to the start of the program. Check out our Food Distribution programs page for more details on program times.

• What Should We Bring With Us?

Groups are not required to bring anything with them to the program in order to serve. However, we do ask that you consider possibly collecting food, clothing, or monetary donations prior to your volunteer day as a way of helping us continue to serve our neighbors in need.

If you bring food or clothing, you can even hand these items out at the same outreach where you serve!

THIS HELPS US TO ENSURE YOUR GROUP GETS OUR UNDIVIDED ATTENTION & TO AVOID CONFLICTS WITH OTHER GROUPS. If you are not volunteering in a group, you DO NOT need to register.
