CHRISTmas Gift Giving
Each year, Lighthouse Mission adopts an entire school district to help parents from poorer families get Christmas Gifts for their children. We then host an event for all of the parents where they come down to receive gifts, get refreshments, and hear the Good News: that Jesus was born on Christmas to offer salvation & a hope that never dies.
Helping Long Islanders in Need:
Lighthouse Mission's Christmas Gift-Giving Program is a way for local parents in need to get gifts for their children in a setting where we share what Christmas is really about: the Good News of Jesus. We partner with a local public school district to identify families with the greatest need, and invite them down to a special program where they get to hear the Gospel, meet with mature Christian volunteers, receive prayer, and choose unwrapped gifts for their children.
How You Can Help:
Donations of NEW, UNWRAPPED gifts for kids and teens are needed to make this program a success. Basketballs and other sports equipment, puzzles, board games, stuffed animals, dolls and action figures, books & clothing are popular items. Financial support for this & other programs can be made at LighthouseGive.com
If you're unable to make it to the Mission, we've set up an online Christmas Needs list where you can order gifts & other items from your home and have them shipped straight to the Mission. Just click on the "Send Gifts" button to check it out.
Please bring all donations by December 19th to:
