Lighthouse Mission
Thank you for your interest in partnering with Lighthouse Mission. This page is designed as a brief overview of our organization and to provide financial information for potential donors. Additional information can be found throughout the Lighthouse Mission website and on our official organization social media accounts.
Our Story
The Lighthouse Mission exists to feed the hungry and help the homeless by sharing God's love with people in need in practical ways. Our commitment is to feed the poor, but our goal is to empower people to overcome poverty and live purpose-filled lives.

Since 1992, Lighthouse Mission has been serving Long Islanders in need through its Mobile Food Distribution and Youth Development programming. These and other Lighthouse Mission community programs are specifically targeted to individuals and families facing poverty, food insecurity, and uncertain housing situations. Through such efforts our organization impacts more than 2,300 Suffolk County residents each week!

Funding for our programs is provided primarily through the generosity of Long Island residents, local businesses and groups, and smaller foundations. In fact, nearly 78% of our support comes from local sources! Donations of food and funds are needed year-round to ensure continuing impact in our shared community.
